Batchwood & Healing on the Streets

The Batchwood project is well under way with a growing number of volunteers involved and a very positive response from both the club users and staff. It's great fun being out there and its looking very likely that the project will continue beyond the trial period. If you'd like to get involved, sign up to our mailing list here. A new project is in the planning stages too! St Albans Healing on the Streets (SHOTS) will be starting soon. A simple offering of healing prayer in the city centre. Click Here for more info.

Hope 08 St Albans Launch Event

Tue 15th April 2008
We are planning to launch Hope in St Albans with an event on Saturday 10th May.

After gathering at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 1pm, we will walk into town at around 2pm.
We will have a balloon launch! With labels attached with the hopes, names or prayers of passers by written on them.

We will then send out the first of the Mobile Hit Squads to do 'acts of kindness' including giving out free lollies or fruit, playing games with children, carrying shopping etc.

We need you to be there to represent all the Christian churches, to demonstrate our unity and the shared Hope that we have in Christ. We need helpers to sell t-shirts, inflate helium balloons, walk and sing, interact with the public and take part in the Hit Squads.
